Itinerary for "Central Mongolian  All -in -One" Tour


Day 1.  Visit Hustai National Park ; Stay in Semi-Gobi

First, we will visit the Hustai National Park, where you will see the wild horses so called the Przewalski horses, and if you are lucky you will also see deers, foxes and gazelles. Later, we will head to the Semi-Gobi. Imagine a picture that consists of rocky mountains in the back, sand dunes extending on the right, green trees in and aside the dunes, a river flowing along the dunes. That is what Semi-Gobi looks like. Relax in Semi-Gobi. You will stay at nomadic family’ ger and ride camels.




Day 2. Orkhon Valley and Ulaan Tsutgalan waterfall


The Ulaan Tsutgalan waterfall is in the historical Orkhon valley, whose river flows an incredible 1120 km to the north before it joins Selenge  river. The waterfall was formed by unique combination of volcanic eruptions and earthquakes about 20000  years ago.






Day 3-5.   Start horseback riding family to family .

This morning we will start our horseback riding tour. After having breakfast, we will pack our staff on luggage horse  and ride to Khuis  Lake. We will start seeing the lakes on day 4.

During these days we will see great landscapes, beautiful lakes and one of the wildest and unspoiled travel destinations of Mongolia. For this trip, we will only see three of the eight lakes.

We highly recommend this area for our customers who want to experience adventurous horseback riding. We will stay  at different families along the way. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner). Also you can try Mongolian traditional dairy product in  family. You are able to see  daily life of a real nomadic family.



 


Day 6.  Tuvkhun Monastery .


Tuvkhun Monastery was built at the top of a mountain for meditational purpose. The panoramic view of the surrounding area from the temple is splendid. Proper hiking boots and water proof trainers are highly recommended as it usually rains a lot there, making our way muddy.

Mosquito deeds are recommended as well.
Hiking to the mountain 5 km. Overnight in a tent.
   

 



Day 7.   Hot spring (Hot spa)

​ The sulphur springs of Tsenkher emerge from the ground at 86 degrees in Celcius. The hot spring is especially good for skin allergy.We will relax in Hot spa for the whole day. It is a good treatment after a long horse-riding trip. Overnight in a ger camp.

Day 8-9.   White Lake and Khorgo Crater are in Tariat sum, a local administration unit which is a magnificent region of extinct volcanoes. Approximately 180km  north-west of Tsetserleg. The white lake was formed when volcanic lavas dammed the Suman River cutting a large gorge through the basalt.

We will spend two nights around this area exploring both the lake and the crater.Activities: hiking and swimming 




Day 10.   The Kharkhorin city ,  ancient capital of Mongolia

Kharkhorin was built in 1235 by Ogodei Khaan, who was a successor of Chingis Khaan. The foundations of Kharkhorin’s buildings are all underground and Erdene-Zuu Monastery was built near the ruins of the ancient capital in 1585. We will visit the monastery and other places around.



Day 11.   Driving  back to UB


Accommodation: nomadic family ger, tourist camp, camping 

      

Meal: B+L+D Vegetarian food is available on your request.
